X86_64
X86_64 is the 64-bit desktop processor which was first introduced by AMD
Intel named their 64-bit processor as IA-32e and EM64T at first but now it has fixed to "Intel 64" and the first processor produced by Intel naming under "Intel 64" was multisocket processor Xeon in June 2004 and mobile processor implementing "Intel 64" for notebooks and laptops was Merom version of the Core 2 processors.
On AMD64 architecture AMD manufactured Opteron, Athlon 64, Athlon 64 X2, Athlon 64 FX, Athlon II (followed by X2, X3 or X4 to indicate the number of cores and XLT models). Turion 64, Turion 64 X2. Sempron, Phenom (X3, X4), Phenom II (X2, X3, X4 and X6 indicating number of cores by numeric values) Phenom FX and Fusion.
